The limited time deal was launched on 25<sup>th<\/sup> August and will be available for eight weeks, giving all university and college students in the area the chance to get unlimited daily tram travel during term time (1<sup>st<\/sup> September 2025-31<sup>st<\/sup> July 2026) \u2013 for 68% less than a standard Student Day Ticket.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The discounted Student Academic Year tram pass can be purchased through the NETGO! App at the special price of \u00a3300, giving a saving of \u00a350 on normal prices.<\/p>\n<p>School students are also able to benefit from an offer on the Under 19 Academic Pass. Only available through a special discount code which can be obtained from participating schools, this ticket will cost just \u00a3225, a saving of \u00a3100 and making tram travel the equivalent of 70p per day.<\/p>\n<p>Head of Marketing at NET, Alison Sweeney, said: \u201cOur discounted offer aims to help both new and returning students quickly get their transport sorted for the year, so all they have to worry about is planning which new coffee shops or bars they want to visit or which gigs they want to attend, rather than how they will get there or how much it might cost.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt just 90p a day, it\u2019s a really cost-effective way to get around the city, no matter how many journeys you make. Our network covers all university and college campuses\u2019, lots of popular residential areas and the bustling city centre, so there will be lots of opportunities to make the most of the unlimited travel, whether you\u2019re studying, visiting friends, shopping or eating out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo access these savings, university and college students need to download the NETGO! App, but any school students wanting to use our discounted Under 19 Academic pass should check with their school to see if they are planning to register their interest to receive a code.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There will also be further discounts available on the Student Academic Year pass for those who visit the NET stand at freshers\u2019 fairs across the city.
