{"id":59767,"date":"2025-08-22T18:00:57","date_gmt":"2025-08-22T17:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=59767"},"modified":"2025-08-17T09:05:01","modified_gmt":"2025-08-17T08:05:01","slug":"picture-in-time-nottingham-express-transit-202-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=59767","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Nottingham Express Transit 202"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the next five weeks \u201cPicture in Time\u201d will be featuring photos from Nottingham Express Transit as we take a look at a selection of the original Incentro trams in action across the original network.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We start off with an image of <strong>202<\/strong> \u2013 the second lowest numbered tram in the NET fleet. As with all of its 14 Incentro sisters (a complete fleet of 15 was ordered for the initial lines from Hucknall and Phoenix Park to Station Street) it was assembled at Derby in 2002\/3, the only examples of modern UK trams which were constructed within the UK. 202 was delivered the short distance to Wilkinson Street Depot in October 2002.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of this photo <strong>202<\/strong> was still in its original fleet livery of green, silver, black and white, which it would retain until its first mid-life overhaul which took place on the fleet from 2013 (and second overhaul would come from 2019).<\/p>\n<p>The tram is seen on 7<sup>th<\/sup> June 2007 as it approaches the Nottingham Station viaduct with a service which will terminate at the original Station Street terminus.
