{"id":59440,"date":"2025-07-28T22:00:18","date_gmt":"2025-07-28T21:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=59440"},"modified":"2025-07-28T12:47:24","modified_gmt":"2025-07-28T11:47:24","slug":"in-pictures-blackpool-007-starts-to-lose-its-adverts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=59440","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: Blackpool 007 starts to lose its adverts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It would appear that there is a concerted effort at Blackpool Transport to remove expired adverts from the trams as following on from <strong>006<\/strong> comes the news that <strong>007<\/strong> has lost one side of its ads too.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>007<\/strong> is one of only two of the Flexity2 trams to be named with it carrying the name of Alan Whitbread, a former member of staff at Blackpool Transport who passed away in 2015. Despite its naming some 10 years ago, it did subsequently received external advertising with it having carried above window adverts for Organ Donation for the past few years. Like many of its sisters it also received adverts for heart attack prevention on the centre section below the windows a couple of years ago.<\/p>\n<p>July 2025 has now seen a change for <strong>007<\/strong> though as the adverts on one side of the tram have now been stripped.
