The tram is <strong>256<\/strong> which has lost adverts for C R Smith in favour of a wrap for National Museum of Scotland.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The last time that <strong>256<\/strong> didn\u2019t have an association with C R Smith was May 2018, which was the month that it first received the adverts for the window company. At the time it was the nineteenth tram to advertise C R Smith (it would be the penultimate new advert with just 265 to follow the next month) and was the first not to use the \u201cFrom&#8230; To\u2026\u201d campaign. Whilst other trams have lost their adverts for the firm <strong>256<\/strong> had clung on, until July 2025 that was!<\/p>\n<p>The tram is now carrying a full wrap for National Museum of Scotland. It features a light blue base with the third and fifth sections of the tram, as usual, having full height adverts and unsurprisingly showcasing some of what the museum has to offer.<\/p>\n<p>With this advert change is means we are now down to just the five trams with CR Smith adverts: <strong>252<\/strong>, <strong>253<\/strong>, <strong>259<\/strong>, <strong>265<\/strong> and <strong>266<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>And <strong>256<\/strong> isn&#8217;t the only advert change, although for 275 its been barely a month rather than seven years! <strong>275<\/strong> had been advertising Philadelphia in a full wrap since June 2025 but by 25th July 2025 that had been stripped and the tram is now carrying a partial design for Edinburgh Gin.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_59419\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/1.256-nb.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-59419\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-59419\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/1.256-nb-550x413.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"413\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/1.256-nb-550x413.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/1.256-nb-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/1.256-nb.jpg 1290w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-59419\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">256 sits in the yard at Gogar Depot after its new vinyls had been applied.
