But on Thursday 24<sup>th<\/sup> July it will be a different situation as the City of Birmingham Orchestra will be performing on a tram as part of their \u201cCBSO in the City\u201d event.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The idea behind the event is that the orchestra move away from their concert hall and go out to engage with diverse new audiences. Starting from Wednesday 23<sup>rd<\/sup> July the CBSO will be performing at locations including New Street railway station (which will include the chance for the public to conduct them!), the Library at Birmingham, Black Country Living Museum and Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Plus, of course, they will perform on board a tram (exact service to be confirmed) as it heads to Wolverhampton.<\/p>\n<p>The tram performance will be on Thursday 24<sup>th<\/sup> July from 1400. The exact service is to be announced on CBSO\u2019s social media on the day as it will depend on any timetable changes.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Reading-Skilton, West Midlands Metro Head of Commercial, said: \u201cWe\u2019re proud to support CBSO in the City again this year.
