This article sees us taking a pictorial look at the Crich Tramway Village again. These photos were taken on Saturday 5th<\/sup> July 2025 and with a Tramcar Sponsorship Organisation (TSO) meeting taking place some of their projects past, present and future were captured feature in these images. It includes a look at the continuing restoration of Blackpool 298<\/strong> whilst one for the future, Blackpool 645<\/strong> was out on the depot fan. Keith Chadbourne with the photos.<\/p>\n

The most recently completed major project thanks to funding from the TSO was the overhaul of Newcastle 102 which returned to service in 2024. With a prolonged period of fine weather its been used fairly regularly recently and was one of three in service on this day being joined by Blackpool 236 and Leeds 345.<\/p><\/div>\n

The current major project in the Workshops is that of Blackpool Brush Railcoach 298. Work continues to make excellent progress with much of the iconic streamlined framework now in place.<\/p><\/div>\n

Chesterfield 7 is another tram to have enjoyed support from he TSO and its posed on the depot fan here alongside Blackpool Centenary 645 \u2013 which is set to be restored as an Access Tram in the near future.<\/p><\/div>\n
