And after May saw <strong>6<\/strong> unusually come in second place, June is far more normal with the top three spots all taken by the newest purpose-built trams.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s not even 50 miles separating the top three with <strong>11<\/strong> having covered 840 miles, <strong>9<\/strong> 828 miles and <strong>10<\/strong> 792 miles. For 11 that amounts to 140 trips up and down the line between Seaton and Colyton.<\/p>\n<p>All other passenger trams \u2013 with the exception of the long-term absentee <strong>7<\/strong> \u2013 were used during the month, although this was to varying degrees. The tram which recorded the lowest mileage was ex-Exeter Corporation tramcar, no. <strong>19<\/strong> which managed just 66 miles in total.<\/p>\n<p>And what of <strong>6<\/strong> after its very busy May? It obviously needed a rest after its efforts \u2013 it is over 70 years old after all! \u2013 as it only covered 90 miles, this was the least of all the double deckers during the month. As a reminder in May it covered 902 miles \u2013 quite some difference!<\/p>\n<p>Seaton Tramway have also announced that Twilight Trams will be returning this summer. This will see the service running between 1700 and 2100 on Wednesday evenings starting from 30<sup>th<\/sup> July. All Day Explorer tickets will still be valid for these extra journeys which will operate every half an hour.
