The tram was back in service by Thursday 3<sup>rd<\/sup> July 2025 following the completion of repairs and full commissioning.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>232<\/strong> had last been in service on 12<sup>th<\/sup> June 2023. This was when it derailed at Bulwell in an incident which saw it suffer significant damage. After being assessed at the depot it was decided that it needed to go off site for full repairs and this saw it head to the now Alstom site at Derby on 20<sup>th<\/sup> May 2024.<\/p>\n<p>After returning across the East Midlands in June 2025 the tram has been prepared for service and is now back in action once again after slightly over two years.<\/p>\n<p>NET is currently operating a reduced service as a result of tram shortages, but with the return of <strong>232<\/strong> hopefully that will go a little way to improving the number of tram available once again.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nottingham Express Transit Citadis 232 has returned to service \u2013 after over two years out of use.
