{"id":58516,"date":"2025-05-21T20:00:57","date_gmt":"2025-05-21T19:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=58516"},"modified":"2025-05-21T19:22:05","modified_gmt":"2025-05-21T18:22:05","slug":"the-seaside-returns-to-crich","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=58516","title":{"rendered":"The Seaside returns to Crich"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You can\u2019t get anywhere in the UK much more landlocked than Crich but for a week each year that doesn\u2019t stop the seaside coming to the Crich Tramway Village and the Seaside Fun event is back again for the May Half Term week between Saturday 24<sup>th<\/sup> and Friday 30<sup>th<\/sup> May.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Obviously there will be all the usual museum attractions \u2013 including the tram service running from Town End to Wakebridge at the moment \u2013 but on top of that there will be various activities that you would usually expect to see on a trip to the seaside.<\/p>\n<p>This will include Punch \u2018n\u2019 Judy, a flea circus, funfair, crafts and bingo. There also be a purpose made beach where the children can build their sandcastles, along with face painting and balloon modelling.<\/p>\n<p>Candi Bell, Event Manager, said: \u201cThis event has everything for families who enjoy a great day out with a variety of activities in a beautiful,safe countryside setting.
