Voting in the British Trams Online Tram of the Year contest for 2013 is now open in all three categories: Tram of the Year, Tramway of the Year and Event of the Year.<\/p>\n

After a\u00a0week of nominations and much scratching of heads our “expert panel” have come up with five trams, three tramways and four events which go forward to the public vote which is open from now until the morning of Saturday 11th January 2014.<\/p>\n
The shortlist for Tram of the Year is:<\/p>\n
* Blackpool Boat 227<\/p>\n
* Blackpool Centenary 648<\/p>\n
* Glasgow 1068<\/p>\n
* Leeds 107<\/p>\n
* Stockport 5<\/p>\n
The shortlist for Tramway of the Year is:<\/p>\n
* Blackpool Tramway<\/p>\n
* Heaton Park Tramway<\/p>\n
* Manchester Metrolink<\/p>\n
The shortlist for Event of the Year is:<\/p>\n
* Rejuvenation of Blackpool Heritage Service<\/p>\n
* Crich Enthusiasts’ Day<\/p>\n
* The Great North Festival of Transport<\/p>\n
* Heaton Park Tramway Autumn Gala<\/p>\n
