{"id":58265,"date":"2025-05-01T22:00:53","date_gmt":"2025-05-01T21:00:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=58265"},"modified":"2025-05-01T19:25:58","modified_gmt":"2025-05-01T18:25:58","slug":"in-pictures-old-school-tram-output-at-carlton-colville","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=58265","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: Old school tram output at Carlton Colville"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In recent years we\u2019ve been spoilt with the number of new trams which have ended up at the East Anglia Transport Museum, such as <strong>Sheffield 513<\/strong> and most recently <strong>Blackpool 634<\/strong>, but we shouldn\u2019t forget those trams which have stalwarts in the operating fleet and on Sunday 27<sup>th<\/sup> April the two trams you probably associate most with the museum were in service.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Those two trams are <strong>Blackpool Standard 159<\/strong> \u2013 which was the tram that helped to inaugurate tram services in the 1970s \u2013 and <strong>London Transport HR\/2 1858<\/strong> \u2013 entered service in 1986 \u2013 which for many years when visiting the East Anglia Transport Museum there was a good chance they would be in service. Probably quite a lot!
