We take another look at a tram and another form of transport in this edition of \u201cTrams &\u201d.<\/p>\n

The below photo was taken at Manchester\u2019s Victoria station but whereas we are usually used to seeing images from the Metrolink platforms this time the photographer stands on the railway station platform as we look across to the tramway.<\/p>\n

In the foreground is one of Northern Rail\u2019s CAF built class 195 DMUs. 195 011 is one of 25 two car units built by the company in Spain between 2017 and 2022 (there are also 33 three car class 195\/1s in use by Northern).<\/p>\n

As we look across to the Metrolink platforms we can see a product of Bombardier (as it was then, since taken over by Alstom) as M5000 3115<\/strong> stands at the centre platform ahead of departing with a service to Etihad Campus. This photo was taken during city centre trackworks with this Victoria-Etihad Campus service being a product of service changes.<\/p>\n
