Just after we reach Saughton tramstop the Fife Circle railway line diverges. There is a bridge just before the stop as well where Saughton Road goes underneath the tramway (and railway). This was also the scene of a fatal accident on 2018 when a pedestrian was hit by a tram on a crossing which led to a \u00a3240,000 fine for breaches of health and safety regulations.<\/p>\n<p>With a grass bank to one side, Saughton tramstop has platforms either side of the tracks. Both have the usual amenities including shelters, passenger information, ticket machines, lighting and CCTV.
