Its taken some time but 17th<\/sup> February saw the first new advertising wrap on a tram in Manchester of 2025. 3047<\/strong> is the chosen tram with it now carrying adverts for train operating company Transpennine Express \u2013 the first time a train company has advertised in this way on a tram since East Midlands Trains had several designs on the then Stagecoach Supertram network.<\/p>\n

Monday 17th<\/sup> February was the first day out for 3047<\/strong> with its new look and the tram was allocated to work the Victoria to Manchester Airport service. At both ends of this route it will come across trains operated by Transpennine Express!<\/p>\n

The advert is a fairly simple design with the base being a dark blue\/purple colour with some windows covered in vinyls \u2013 one set showing how you enjoy yourself after using the train to get where you want with the other using the wording \u201cConnecting Greater Manchester to the rest of the North & beyond\u201d. The slogan \u201cLet out trains take you there\u201d is also used.<\/p>\n

This marks the ninth different advert carried by 3047<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
