Full dates of operation and planned timetables for the Isle of Man Steam Railway, Manx Electric Railway, Snaefell Mountain Railway and Duglas Bay Horse Tramway in 2025 have now been announced. The dates of operation had previously been announced in 2025 but this is the first time that the full timetable has been published.<\/p>\n

Douglas Bay Horse Tramway<\/strong><\/p>\n Thursday 3rd<\/sup> April to Sunday 2nd<\/sup> November<\/em><\/p>\n There is a reduction in planned services for the horse tramway with the peak timetable P (the only two tram service) only operating during the Transport Festival week in July and weekends throughout August. This timetable will no longer operate during the TT week.<\/p>\n A new timetable W will also run in October (and the first weekend of November) which sees services end with the 1510 Derby Castle-Villa Marina and 1525 return. On the main timetable (N) the final services are 1700 from Derby Castle and 1715 back from Villa Marina.<\/p>\n Manx Electric Railway<\/strong><\/p>\n Thursday 3rd<\/sup> April to Sunday 2nd<\/sup> November<\/em><\/p>\n A similar pattern to previous years with six lettered timetables in operation. The most intensive service \u2013 timetable F \u2013 runs during the TT fortnight (this sees 20 departures between 0840 and 2055 from Derby Castle).<\/p>\n Timetable D will again operate for most of the main season (12 departures from Derby Castle from 0940 to 1610). This also sees the use of either 1, 2, 16, 32 or 33 on the 1140 Derby Castle to Ramsey and 1340 from Ramsey \u201cRide on the World\u2019s Oldest Trams and Open Trams\u201d.<\/p>\n Evening services on selected Wednesdays (Derby Castle-Groudle) in June, July and August and Saturdays (the whole route length) in June, July, August and the first half of September.<\/p>\n Snaefell Mountain Railway<\/strong><\/p>\n Saturday 29th<\/sup> March to Sunday 2nd<\/sup> November <\/em><\/p>\n The line celebrates its 130th<\/sup> anniversary in 2025 and will again run its usual timetabled services from Laxey to the Summit, to connect with the services being run by the Manx Electric Railway.<\/p>\n The Isle of Man Steam Railway will also be running this year between Thursday 20th<\/sup> March and Sunday 2nd<\/sup> November.<\/p>\n Full dates of operation and planned timetables for the Isle of Man Steam Railway, Manx Electric Railway, Snaefell Mountain Railway and Duglas Bay Horse Tramway in 2025 have now been announced.
