Roy Calderwood is our photographer.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Although this was the fifth different advert that <strong>268<\/strong> has carried since receiving its very first in June 2018 for Parabola My Edinburgh Park (one of the few which didn\u2019t start off life with a C R Smith ad), this was in fact its very first full vinyl wrap, with just the ends of the tram not receiving adverts. The vinyls were added in October 2024 and at the time of writing they remain in place.<\/p>\n<p>Lost Shore is described as a luxury surf resort with a wellness studio and offers world-class surf lessons, lodging, and dining. It is Europe\u2019s largest inland surfing destination and is located in Ratho, just 10 minutes from Edinburgh Airport and a 25 minute drive from the centre of Edinburgh.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_57184\" style=\"width: 423px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/1.268-RC.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-57184\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-57184\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/1.268-RC-413x550.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"413\" height=\"550\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/1.268-RC-413x550.jpg 413w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/1.268-RC-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/1.268-RC.jpg 960w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 413px) 100vw, 413px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-57184\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">As with all adverts on trams in Edinburgh, the majority of windows are kept free of vinyls with, at most, just the third and fifth sections of the tram seeing the windows are covered. That remains the case for both partial and full wrap adverts.
