It must be Six Nations time again! For the third year in a succession Breitling \u2013 who are the official timetables of the rugby union championship \u2013 have taken out a contract for a full vinyl wrap advert on a tram in Edinburgh with a third different tram carrying the vinyls as 255<\/strong> is the chosen vehicle this time. And for the first time it\u2019s a change of design with the alternate yellow and blue sections replaced with a more consistent use of yellow.<\/p>\n

255<\/strong> had previously been carrying a special Christmas advert for Walkers shortbread (which was a partial advertising style) but this isn\u2019t the first full wrap for the tram as from July to December 2024 it had been carrying vinyls for RBS\u2019 support of Team GB at the Paris Olympics. Previous to that and it had advertised C R Smith (October 2017-March 2020) and Forever Edinburgh (three designs between October 2020 and July 2024).<\/p>\n

Back to the current advert and it is a full wrap which includes blue ends and the majority of the rest of the tram includes yellow backed vinyls. There is just one section which has a dark background with rugby images whilst the other full height, window covered section has a watch.<\/p>\n

Breitling previously advertised on 270<\/strong> in 2023 and 271<\/strong> in 2024.<\/p>\n

255<\/strong> isn\u2019t the only tram which has received new vinyls so far in 2025. January also saw two revised designs applied with 251<\/strong> receiving its sixth different set of vinyls for St James Place whilst 275<\/strong> got a second set of vinyls for ESPC.<\/p>\n

255 is at St Andrew Square when its seen in this photo with a service for the Airport which go via Murrayfield Stadium. This was the first day of the Six Nations Championships with Scotland taking on Italy in a match which they would go on to win 32-19.<\/p><\/div>\n
