Obviously the Seaside Event lends itself to the several Blackpool trams resident at the museum whilst London Transport 1858 is likely to be a major exhibit at the London Event. And of course the East Anglia Transport Museum is not just about the trams with plenty of London and seaside related trolleybuses in the collection as well as various motorbuses too.

One regular event which is missing from the special events list for 2025 is the Trolleybus Weekend which will be taking a break from the calendar this year and has been replaced by the London Event.

Confirmed events:

Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th April – Easter Treasure Hunt

Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May – 1960s Weekends

Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th July – Seaside Special

Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September – London Event

Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th October – Halloween

Saturday 6th, Sunday 7th, Saturday 13th, Sunday 14th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st December – Ride the Lights

Thursday 1st January 2026 – New Year’s Day

The museum reopens for the 2025 season on Sunday 6th April.
