{"id":56869,"date":"2025-01-11T14:00:52","date_gmt":"2025-01-11T14:00:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=56869"},"modified":"2025-01-10T19:39:59","modified_gmt":"2025-01-10T19:39:59","slug":"special-events-coming-up-in-2025-at-crich","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=56869","title":{"rendered":"Special Events coming up in 2025 at Crich"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>2025 looks set to be another busy year at the Crich Tramway Village, home of the National Tramway Museum, with the usual mix of normal operating days and special events.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The museum will reopen to the public from 15<sup>th<\/sup> March 2025 with exact opening dates and times to follow shortly. 2025 admission prices are also to be confirmed this month.<\/p>\n<p>Special events wise, the highlight of the enthusiast calendar will again be Tram Weekend. As the name suggests this will again be taking place over two days with Saturday 13<sup>th<\/sup> and Sunday 14<sup>th<\/sup> September set in the diary. Obviously its too early to predict exactly what the themes of the weekend will be but expect an intensive tram service and the display of stored trams around the depot for photos.<\/p>\n<p>After the success last year of An Adventure in Time and Light which included the operation of trams after dark, there will be another premium event on the second weekend of November. Titled Tramlight, the event promises that the \u201cTramway Village turns magical by Tramlight as darkness falls\u201d. There will be entertainment and characters for the event which will be an afternoon and evening event. That will be Saturday 8<sup>th<\/sup> and Sunday 9<sup>th<\/sup> November.<\/p>\n<p>There will be Model Trams operating in the Great Exhibition Hall every month between March and August.
