For Manchester Metrolink it looks set to be another year of improvement works with details having been announced of planned work for the first two months of 2025.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday 19<sup>th<\/sup> January<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work will take place on a pedestrian walkway between Corporation Street and Victoria as well as overhead renewal work between Victoria and Queens Road<\/li>\n<li>No trams will operate from the start of service until 1000 on the Bury line and through Victoria<\/li>\n<li>Services on the Rochdale line will terminate at Monsall<\/li>\n<li>Services on the East Didsbury line will terminate at Exchange Square<\/li>\n<li>Replacement buses will run Bury-Piccadilly, and Central Park-Victoria until 1100<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Sunday 26<sup>th<\/sup> January<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Track renewal work will take place on the Ashton-under-Lyne line<\/li>\n<li>No trams will operate between Piccadilly Gardens and Ashton-under-Lyne<\/li>\n<li>Bus replacement to operate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Saturday 1<sup>st<\/sup> to Tuesday 25<sup>th<\/sup> February<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work is due to take place at Weaste tramstop as the major Eccles line works continue<\/li>\n<li>No trams will run between Eccles and MediaCityUK<\/li>\n<li>Bus replacement to operate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more details on the planned works visit the TfGM website at <a href=\"https:\/\/tfgm.com\/tram-improvement-works\">https:\/\/tfgm.com\/tram-improvement-works<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We enter a new year and start to look forward to what may be happening over the next 12 months.
