Then around about a week later the tram suffered a fault and hasn\u2019t been seen since \u2013 until now!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>56<\/strong> was noted back in service on Tuesday 3<sup>rd<\/sup> December which was one of its first uses since early October 2024, so its been the best part of two months since the tram was last seen in service.<\/p>\n<p>The tram has around 124,850km on the clock upon its return, the fact its been missing for some time is shown by the 209,833km seen on another of the Urbos100 trams, <strong>43<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>56<\/strong> is one of six West Midlands Metro trams which is named, three Urbos3 and three Urbos100s:<\/p>\n<p>28 \u2013 Jasper Carrott<\/p>\n<p>31 \u2013 Cyrille Regis MBE 1958-2018<\/p>\n<p>37 \u2013 Ozzy Osbourne<\/p>\n<p>39 \u2013 Don &amp; Roy Richardson<\/p>\n<p>40 \u2013 Teresa Stewart<\/p>\n<p>56 \u2013 Amman Ahmed<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the end of September 2024, West Midlands Metro Urbos100 tram 56 was named Amman Ahmed after a local volunteer who won a contest as part of the 50for50WM campaign which celebrated 50 years of the West Midlands County.
