That set of photos concentrated on much of the reserved section towards the Wednesbury end of the line and now we go closer to the end of phase one of this extension in Dudley to see some of the progress in that area. Andy Walters provides this set of images.

The section into Dudley has been further advanced than that on the section we last featured with track having been down in places for some time. But now progress has been turning towards other pieces of infrastructure, including the construction of tramstops.

Phase one of the line from Wednesbury to Flood Street, Dudley is due to be completed in time to allow trams to start running by the end of 2025 with a recruitment campaign already underway for the extra jobs this will create.

This will be the stop at Dudley Castle/Zoo looking up towards the ramp into Dudley.
