We go a bit further back for this latest edition of \u201cPicture in Time\u201d from the Docklands Light Railway.<\/p>\n

Whereas the last few weeks have featured photos taken in the 2010s we are now in 2005 when the corporate identity of the Docklands Light Railway was different as we see in this photo of 52<\/strong> which is located at Canary Wharf. It has just terminated with a service and is carrying the then fleet livery of blue, white and red before the river style livery came into being.<\/p>\n

The train we are viewing is 52<\/strong>. This is a B92, these units were built by BN Construction in Brugge, Belgium over a three year period between 1992 and 1995 and remain the second oldest fleet of trains which currently operate on the DLR. 52<\/strong> \u2013 like all of this type \u2013 will be withdrawn from service once the new CAF trains are fully entered into service. This is likely to be around 2026 so there remains some time to sample these trains before they go.<\/p>\n
