If you believe the literature from the Midland Metro Alliance this time next year we may be on the final run-up to services starting on the West Midlands Metro extension from Wednesbury to Dudley. But that still looks some way off although, as we see in this latest update, there has been some more progress in construction as we head to Great Bridge and New Road Bridge courtesy of Chris Allsop-Buckler.<\/p>\n

Great Bridge will be the first stop on the new line and here some good recent progress has been made. Here we see the new bridge piers having been installed.<\/p><\/div>\n

Also at Great Bridge and the concrete base is being laid here in preparation for the installation of the track.<\/p><\/div>\n
