It\u2019s a case of another week and another two new adverts on Manchester Metrolink. 3047<\/strong> and 3099<\/strong> are the latest trams to return to carrying advertising vinyls with one returning sponsor and one all new company to advertise on the trams.<\/p>\n

First up is 3047<\/strong> which is now carrying vinyls for the Greater Manchester Good Employment Week 2024 which takes place between 7th<\/sup> and 11th<\/sup> October. The ad is different on each side with one side featuring light blue vinyls and the other orange.<\/p>\n

Greater Manchester Good Employment Week previously had an ad on 3079<\/strong> between June and September 2023 (last year the week took place in June).<\/p>\n

3047<\/strong> is one of the trams which has had a fairly steady stream of ads over the years: Vodafone (June 2018-December 2019), Soccer Aid (April-August 2023), Marc Jacobs (September-December 2023), Bee Network Christmas (December 2023-January 2024), Lulumelon (January-March 2024), AO Arena (March-June 2024) and KFC (June-July 2024).<\/p>\n

The second new ad is on 3099<\/strong> (just its second wrap following on for one for Gymshark in 2019) and is for a special edition Fanta celebrating the release of the new Beetlejuice Beetlejuice movie. The vinyls on this ad are black and white stripes with just the Fanta logo and a bottle of the special edition Fanta breaking this up.<\/p>\n

And here we see the blue side of the ad as the tram departs for East Didsbury.<\/p><\/div>\n

3099 in its advert for Fanta Beetlejuice special edition at St Peter\u2019s Square. It was relatively unusual to see it partnered with another tram with adverts (3102) as it heads to Victoria.
