{"id":55516,"date":"2024-10-03T20:00:33","date_gmt":"2024-10-03T19:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=55516"},"modified":"2024-10-03T10:38:40","modified_gmt":"2024-10-03T09:38:40","slug":"special-out-of-season-event-for-crich-tramway-village","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=55516","title":{"rendered":"Special out of season event for Crich Tramway Village"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Normally at the start of November that\u2019s it for another year of opening for the Crich Tramway Village but this year there will be an extra special event taking place on Saturday 9<sup>th<\/sup> and Sunday 10<sup>th<\/sup> November \u2013 A Journey through Time and Light.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Opening between 1200 and 2000 each day, during the afternoon visitors will be able to step back to a Victoria inspired setting where you can meet Ragged Victorians and learn about life in Victorian England. There will be entertainers performing around the site, music in the Red Lion, the caf\u00e9 will be open and gifts can be bought from carefully selected traders.<\/p>\n<p>Then from dusk, the main street lights will come on and the site gets transformed into a special place with illuminated trams and entertainers in street and on the bandstand.<\/p>\n<p>As this is a special event, return tickets are not valid and with visitor numbers being restricted tickets must be booked in advance.
