The Seaton Tramway in Devon continues to operate daily until Sunday 3rd<\/sup> November with the Yellow timetable having been reintroduced from Monday 23rd<\/sup> September. This means trams run between 1000 and 1600 at 20 minute intervals (ending one hour earlier than the peak timetable) but that still gives plenty of time to enjoy a ride along the Axe Estuary. In this article we take a look at some September trams in operation.<\/p>\n

As well as the normal operating service, at the moment there is an added attraction at Seaton terminus \u2013 no. 23<\/strong>. As we\u2019ve previously reported this is the original Claude Lane built tram which runs on a 15 inch gauge. Dating from 1948\/9 it has returned to Seaton (it made an brief appearance in Devon in 1995 for the 25th<\/sup> anniversary of the line) to go on display to showcase an important part of the history of what would become Modern Electric Tramways. It will be on display at Seaton until the end of the season on 3rd<\/sup> November.<\/p>\n
