The tram made its return to passenger service on Monday 8<sup>th<\/sup> September when it operated on the Yellow route.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>105<\/strong> last ran in passenger service on 23<sup>rd<\/sup> July 2021 when it was hit by a lorry at Hyde Park causing significant damage to the cab whilst also being derailed. After a period of storage at Nunnery Square Depot it was then sent to Kilmarnock in two sections on 14<sup>th<\/sup> and 15<sup>th<\/sup> March 2022. It came back to Sheffield after repairs on 30<sup>th<\/sup> and 31<sup>st<\/sup> August 2023. After further work at the depot and testing it has now finally come back into use \u2013 1144 days later (or 3 years, 1 month and 17 days if you prefer!).<\/p>\n<p>Of course, things have changed on Supertram since it last ran with Stagecoach no longer the operators following the takeover by the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority.
