The offer will be available until 20<sup>th<\/sup> October and both new and returning students can purchase the Student Academic Year Tram Ticket through the NETGO! app for \u00a3275 \u2013 reduced by \u00a350.<\/p>\n<p>The price of the season ticket works out 80% cheaper than a standard Student Day Ticket.<\/p>\n<p>Those who are studying at school can also access cheaper travel through the newly discounted Under 19 Academic pass. This will cost \u00a3200 and is only available through a special discount code with participating schools. The overall cost works out at 60p a day between 1<sup>st<\/sup> September 2024 and 31<sup>st<\/sup> July 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Alison Sweeney, Head of Marketing at NET, said: \u201cNottingham is a bustling city with so much to offer thanks to a thriving hospitality scene, a plethora of shops and a wide range of live music venues, making it a very attractive option for students. As we welcome both freshers and returning students to the city, we\u2019ve put together a new offer to help them get the most out of their time in Nottingham this academic year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the new discounts, students will be able to access all the city has to offer for less than \u00a31 a day, regardless of how many tram journeys they take that day. So, whether they\u2019re travelling to the iconic Rock City for a gig, into the city centre to shop or enjoying the many food options on offer, they\u2019ll be able to make their money go even further this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile university and college students can take advantage of these savings via the NETGO! app, any school students wanting to gain a code for our discounted Under 19 Academic pass just needs to speak with their school, who will then be able to register their interest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And for students wanting to get even more discounts they are being urged to visit the NET stand at the University of Nottingham (25<sup>th<\/sup> and 26<sup>th<\/sup> September), Nottingham Trent University (Clifton campus \u2013 16<sup>th<\/sup> September, City campus \u2013 18<sup>th<\/sup> and 19<sup>th<\/sup> September) and Nottingham College (week commencing 9<sup>th<\/sup> September) fresher\u2019s fairs.<\/p>\n<p>Alison added: \u201cFreshers season is always one of our favourite times of the year as it allows us to get out there and meet students to tell them about all the benefits of travelling by tram.
