This is the shortest term advert seen yet on the West Midlands Metro.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It was only 17<sup>th<\/sup> July that we first report on the advert having been applied to <strong>58<\/strong> and the vinyls were removed by 13<sup>th<\/sup> August making it just short of one month for the advert. The previous shortest length of commercial advertising was four months for <strong>39<\/strong> and its University of Birmingham design.<\/p>\n<p>KFC also had a similarly short contract advertising on Manchester Metrolink in June and July 2024.<\/p>\n<p>This leaves just two trams not in standard fleet livery on West Midlands Metro \u2013 <strong>44<\/strong> (National Trust) and <strong>45<\/strong> (City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra).<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_54938\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/58-aw.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-54938\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-54938\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/58-aw-550x309.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"309\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-54938\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">58 at West Bromwich Central back in plain blue livery.
