The second edition of the \u201cLet\u2019s Talk Light Rail\u201d podcast from the LRSSB has now been released and this time they are focusing on the potential of a new Learning Management System to drive up competency standards in light rail.<\/p>\n

The LRSSB\u2019s Head of Engineering Safety and Innovation, Craig O\u2019Brien offers an insight into the many benefits of a structured approach to training and development. He is joined by Marlene Pearson-McGrath (Training Manager, Edinburgh Trams) who has led the development of a pioneering Learning Management System for Edinburgh Trams. They discuss how a similar system can be used as an example for other networks to copy.<\/p>\n
Then they\u2019re joined by Carly Swift, Marketing and Digital Media Manager at LRSSB, as they discuss plans by the organisation to develop a national system embracing the best practice established in Edinburgh.<\/p>\n
