The tram was back in service during June and has remained active since as one of the trams which is regularly used in service along the line between Edgbaston Village and Wolverhampton Railway Station.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>54<\/strong> had been involved in a collision with a car in Wolverhampton on 27<sup>th<\/sup> May 2024 and was returned to the depot for assessment and repairs. The damage was not that severe and it was repaired within a month, being back in service by 18<sup>th<\/sup> June 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Another tram which suffered damage in a collision, <strong>46<\/strong>, remains out of service although a start has been made on repairs to bring this tram back into service as well.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_54826\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=54826\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-54826\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-54826\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-54826\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/54-aw-550x310.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"310\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-54826\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Its not hard to work out which end suffered the damage and required repairs as 54 was back in service sans fleet numbers where the work had taken place.
