The opening of the UK’s newest section of tramway in Blackpool is the subject of this week’s set of photos:<\/p>\n

It may have been much delayed and the timetable being operated may not be what everyone had hoped for but Sunday 16th June finally saw the Blackpool Tramway extension to North Station open to the public (after several days of pre-opening tours). The very first tram to run the public timetable was Flexity2 015 which is captured here leaving North Station at 0730 on 16th June. (Photograph by Steven Hughes)<\/p><\/div>\n
