The partnership was first launched last year when tram <strong>45<\/strong> received a full vinyl wrap and the two organisations will now continue to work together for another year after the renewal of the agreement.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>One of the benefits of the partnership will see ticket holders for the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra concerts receive a 20% discount on tram travel, allowing those off to a concert to take the green option to get there.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Reading Skilton, Metro\u2019s Head of Commercial, said: \u201cThe tram provides the ideal way for concert goers and musicians to reach venues across the city that host performances by the 90-strong orchestra and its associated choirs and youth ensembles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConcertgoers can take advantage of our 700 free spaces at our park and ride facilities before enjoying swift and convenient travel thanks to the improved tram timetable with services from every eight minutes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat\u2019s more, with stops just outside, or within a few minutes\u2019 walk of Birmingham\u2019s Symphony Hall, Town Hall and the CBSO Centre, the Metro offers the ideal way to access one of the region\u2019s most treasured cultural organisations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Beki Smith, Director of Marketing and Communications for the CBSO, added: \u201cWe are truly thrilled to be continuing our partnership with West Midlands Metro for another year.
