We return to the Crich Tramway Village for another set of photos in this article as we see more images from a normal operating day during April \u2013 the first full month of operation for the tramway in 2024. On this visit on Sunday 21st<\/sup> April it was the usual three tram service which included two trams from Sheffield (74<\/strong> and 510<\/strong>) and one from Blackpool (236<\/strong>). The photos are from Stuart Cooke.<\/p>\n

The only open tram to have been used in service so far at Crich this year (at the time of the visit anyway) is Blackpool 236, which is also the only Blackpool Open Boat to have seen action during 2024 so far. On a fairly pleasant spring day we see the tram here at Victoria Park as it gets ready to head up the line.<\/p><\/div>\n

Carrying its Last Tram Week commemorative livery, Sheffield 510 approaches Victoria Park. Its not got far to go before all passengers get off as it will be Victoria Park and then soon after Stephenson Place for the tram.<\/p><\/div>\n

Two Sheffield trams of different eras meet at Victoria Park. 1900 built 74 approaches as 510 from 1950 waits for the line ahead to clear.<\/p><\/div>\n

Taken on board 236 we\u2019re at Wakebridge here as we see 74 approaching the stop from the main museum site.<\/p><\/div>\n

We\u2019re about to arrive back at Wakebridge on 510 having travelled down from Glory Mine. Blackpool 236 waits for us and the single line token.<\/p><\/div>\n
