{"id":5344,"date":"2013-10-08T18:15:57","date_gmt":"2013-10-08T17:15:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=5344"},"modified":"2013-10-08T18:15:57","modified_gmt":"2013-10-08T17:15:57","slug":"supertram-celebrate-customer-service-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=5344","title":{"rendered":"Supertram celebrate Customer Service Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of National Customer Service Week (Monday 7<sup>th<\/sup>-Sunday 13<sup>th <\/sup>October) Stagecoach Supertram are celebrating their recent customer service successes as well as launching a competition to find the Supertram Customer Service Star and the chance for passengers to nominate their star employee. DayRider tickets will also be given away at Sheffield Station by staff who will also be on hand to offer information and guidance on using the trams.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Claire Ansley, Head of Customer Service at Stagecoach Supertram, explains more: \u201cIt\u2019s really important to us that we offer our passengers the best possible customer service. \u00a0We know that almost 89% of our passengers are satisfied with our service, which is great news, however we realise we can always improve. As well as celebrating National Customer Service Week through a range of exciting initiatives, we\u2019ll also be looking for feedback from passengers on how we can do better.\u00a0This week we\u2019re also launching a competition to find the Supertram Customer Service Star. The competition, which will run until the end of the month, gives passengers the opportunity to nominate a member of staff who has made a difference to their journey. \u00a0We already know we have some fantastic staff on our trams, but now we\u2019re giving our customers an opportunity to have their say and nominate their favourite Supertram Star.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A new member of staff is also due to be introduced during the week with the first appearance of \u201cSupertram Man\u201d. \u201cSupertram Man\u201d is a caped crusader whose job it is to<br \/>\nspread the word of safety when using the tram and will be appearing at various locations across the network. Anyone who spots him is being encouraged to email <a href=\"mailto:competition@supertram.com\">competition@supertram.com<\/a> with the date, location and time with one lucky person being picked at random each day to win a free Dayrider ticket!<\/p>\n<p>There will be \u201cMeet the Manager\u201d events taking place as well with passengers able to ask questions and give feedback about the service.
