The fares structure remains the same so it\u2019s a simple flat free for travel \u2013 whether you\u2019re going from North Pier to Tower or Starr Gate to Fleetwood.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In the announcement of the fare increase Blackpool Transport said: \u201cDelivering high value, reliable public transport is always our priority, and these small changes to some of our tickets will allow us to continue doing just that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>1 day tickets will also increase from the same date to \u00a36.60 (was \u00a36.00) with 3 day tickets being \u00a318.50 (\u00a317.50) and 7 day tickets at \u00a323.00 (\u00a322.00).<\/p>\n<p>Single bus tickets don\u2019t change as these remain covered by the government\u2019s \u00a32 fare cap (which guarantees that they will stay at this level until 31<sup>st<\/sup> December 2024) and Group tickets will also stay as \u00a318 for up to 5 people travelling together.<\/p>\n<p>Blackpool Transport have also announced a price freeze for regular travellers who travel frequently on the trams and buses. Anyone who subscribes to a 30 day or 7 day Child, Young Person or Adult Saver ticket before 31<sup>st<\/sup> March will only be charged at the pre-increase rate meaning an Adult 30 day tickets stays as only \u00a32.53 a day with a 7 day ticket being \u00a33.14 per day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The cost of travelling on the Blackpool Tramway will increase again from 31st March with a single fare between any two stops setting you back \u00a33.50 \u2013 a 30p increase from the current fee.
