Work was taking place on the traffic signals at this location at the time which also impacted the trams.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The work on the traffic signals led to these being switched off and this also impacted the tram signals. With the tram signals not on it meant that trams did not have permission to proceed which caused some additional congestion. Whilst the issue was resolved trams were turned back at Library although <strong>45<\/strong> was stuck at Edgbaston Village.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_52961\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=52961\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-52961\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-52961\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-52961\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/1.45-aw-550x307.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"307\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-52961\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">45 is at the front of a queue of buses as it just comes out from the Five Ways underpass.
