In the past three years, we\u2019ve focused our efforts on one charity a year chosen by a vote among all colleagues. This year all fundraising events will benefit Acorns\u2019 invaluable care and services for children and their families.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The charity is renowned of its specialised palliative care services for local children and families, offering various forms of support, including respite care, therapy and bereavement assistance.<\/p>\n<p>Rich Burke, Partnerships Fundraising Manager for Acorn\u2019s Children\u2019s Hospice, said: \u201cWe are deeply honoured to be chosen as West Midlands Metro Charity of the Year for 2024. This partnership embodies the spirit of community and underscores the importance of collective support in our mission to provide comfort and care to children and families in the West Midlands during challenging times.
