It remains single track until we drop down towards the next stop when its double track all the way to Croydon. If you’re heading on a tram towards Beckenham Junction you may be held just beyond Harrington Road as you wait for a tram to come off the single line section. But we’re heading the opposite way so that doesn’t concern us as we coast into the tramstop. For the first time since Avenue Road we have platforms either side of the tracks here – and they both have everything we come to expect including shelters, validators and passenger information displays. When we arrive at the stop there is access to Beckenham Cemetery just beyond the platforms.

The first photo depicts 2550 which is calling on the way to Beckenham Junction.

And then its 2540 which is in this photo as the tram pulls into Harrington Road on the way to Wimbledon.
