{"id":52776,"date":"2024-02-25T14:00:04","date_gmt":"2024-02-25T14:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=52776"},"modified":"2024-02-25T08:40:11","modified_gmt":"2024-02-25T08:40:11","slug":"saltburn-cliff-tramway-wont-be-ready-to-reopen-by-easter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=52776","title":{"rendered":"Saltburn Cliff Tramway won\u2019t be ready to reopen by Easter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council have confirmed that the repairs required to the Saltburn Cliff Tramway after a fire in January will not be completed in time for the cliff tramway to open again at Easter as originally planned.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The fire broke out in the station building (specifically the electrical plant room) on the Cliff Tramway on 15<sup>th<\/sup> January 2024 \u2013 only six days after services had finished operation for a pre-planned off season.
