But that was not the first of the distinctive Coal Trams to have come from Portugal. Two of them were purchased to provide parts for a couple of Greater Manchester tram restoration projects \u2013 <strong>Stockport 5<\/strong> and <strong>Manchester 173<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>62<\/strong> and <strong>70<\/strong> were imported in the early 1980s and were stored at Kearsley Power Station ahead of being stripped for spare parts. Whilst there they were operated on occasions using the power station\u2019s overhead.
