When it was announced last year that Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours would be taking a break once the Illuminations were over in January it was mentioned that things would start to run again from Easter and now full details have been announced of their operating plans for 2024.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve read any of the press releases which have come out from Heritage Tram Tours you will have realised that 2024 was likely to be a quieter year with operations based on Starr Gate rather than Rigby Road. This does mean that fewer trams will be available for service at any one time (due to capacity constraints at Starr Gate) and so there are set to be fewer tours being operated during the year (with Coastal Tours taking the biggest hit, which may not be a bad thing as it could make these more \u201cspecial\u201d and attract more passengers). Despite that there will still be plenty of operations to enjoy a heritage tram ride in Blackpool \u2013 including the return of \u201cEvent\u201d and \u201cEnhanced\u201d weekends.<\/p>\n
