This marks the return to advertising on the trams for BT with the company last having an advert back in August 2023.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The new advert is of the normal Edinburgh Trams partial advertising style with full height adverts on two sections of the tram and the remainder just seeing vinyls stuck above the windows. Using the slogans \u201cBacking the driven\u201d and \u201cBacking the brave\u201d the advert is a double campaign with BT supporting not only Scottish Rugby but also businesses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>267<\/strong> has now had nine different adverts in its operating life: CR Smith (September 2017-June 2019), EE 5G (June-August 2019), Spotify (August-December 2019), Johnnie Walker visitor attraction (September 2021-December 2022), St James Quarter Christmas shopping and dining (December 2022-January 2023), Tennent\u2019s Lager (January-July 2023), Edinburgh International Festival (July-September 2023) and Hello Fresh (September 2023-February 2023).<\/p>\n<p>Other Edinburgh advert news has seen <strong>271<\/strong> receive adverts for Brietling \u2013 another company returning to the trams.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>And speaking of rugby\u2026 Edinburgh Trams have confirmed they will be running extra trams before and after Scotland\u2019s first home fixture in this year\u2019s Six Nations Championship which once again takes place at Murrayfield Stadium. Scotland will be playing France on Saturday 10<sup>th<\/sup> February with kick off at 1415 \u2013 the home side looking to continue their winning start whilst France will be hoping to kick start their tournament after defeat in round one. Anyone heading to the match is also able to take advantage of special value for money rugby ticket options.
