This is a Birney tram built in 1924 by JG Brill and Company of Philadelphia for the Melbourne Electric Supply Company. Of interest is that it was actually delivered as a flat pack of parts and then assembled upon arrival in Australia! It operated on the Geelong Tramways system until transferred to Bendigo in 1948. <strong>15<\/strong> continued to run until withdrawal in 1959.
