In this series we aim to feature photos at each stop on UK tramways taking a look at the immediate surroundings.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The first part of this series on London Trams will be concentrating on the Beckenham Junction and Elmers End lines; we start off at the Beckenham Junction terminus. Opening to trams on 23<sup>rd<\/sup> May 2000, whilst the stop provides an interchange to national rail services the tramstop is actually located outside of the station so it requires a short walk and through the railway station barriers in order to change transport modes here. The stop is a typical island platform with tracks either side and is served by trams from Wimbledon on the current timetable.
