J is for Just Eat adverts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We did say that some letters were easier to come up with a theme then others and the letter J is the first of those where we struggled a little bit!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>All over adverts have long been a staple of tramways, bringing in some much needed extra revenue to operators. Loved and loathed in equal measure, more recent years have seen the introduction of vinyls across the windows which has added even more controversy to their application. On the UK\u2019s modern tramways there haven\u2019t been too many companies who have taken adverts out on more than one system but one was Just Eat who advertised on both Manchester Metrolink and Nottingham Express Transit. In Manchester they had ads on <strong>3039<\/strong> (May-September 2018) and <strong>3085<\/strong> (May-September 2018) whilst on NET it was <strong>210<\/strong> which carried vinyls for Just Eat (2017-2019).<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_51962\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=51962\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-51962\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-51962\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-51962\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/j-gp-550x367.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"367\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/j-gp-550x367.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/j-gp-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/j-gp-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/j-gp.jpg 1296w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-51962\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">We illustrated these adverts with a photo of Metrolink\u2019s 3085. As with the majority of ads in Manchester the fleet livery remained on the ends but the remainder had the colourful vinyls in place. This is at Velopark. 3085 had terminated at Ethihad Campus and then moved forward here to use the crossover and reverse.
