{"id":51847,"date":"2023-12-02T18:00:50","date_gmt":"2023-12-02T18:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=51847"},"modified":"2023-12-02T12:56:35","modified_gmt":"2023-12-02T12:56:35","slug":"around-the-world-in-trams-port-de-soller-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=51847","title":{"rendered":"Around the World in Trams: Port de Soller 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The December stop in our worldwide tour of trams is Port de Soller on Majorca as we take a look at some of the trams in service on this heritage tramway which first started to run in 1913.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Port de Soller tramway is operated by Ferrocarril de Soller S.A. and first ran on 4<sup>th<\/sup> October 1913. The line is just over 3 miles long (4.8km) and is mainly on a single track although does have passing loops along its length.
