The incident happened at approximately 1430 on Thursday 30<sup>th<\/sup> November.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In a statement Nottinghamshire Police confirmed that the man had been taken to hospital with head injuries although the extent of these was not revealed.<\/p>\n<p>An investigation was immediately launched and with the Police remaining on the scene there was major disruption to services on the Toton Lane to Hucknall route. Services were able to run:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Toton Lane to Cator Lane<\/li>\n<li>Beeston Centre to Hucknall<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There was ticket acceptance available on Orange line buses to allow passengers to complete their journeys.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A man has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a tram on Chilwell Road, Beeston.
