{"id":51519,"date":"2023-11-02T21:00:28","date_gmt":"2023-11-02T21:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=51519"},"modified":"2023-11-02T19:34:34","modified_gmt":"2023-11-02T19:34:34","slug":"in-pictures-37-heads-to-worksop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=51519","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: 37 heads to Worksop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thursday 2<sup>nd<\/sup> November saw yet another West Midlands Metro tram on the road as <strong>37<\/strong> \u2013 the last of the Urbos3 trams to be built \u2013 was transported from Wednesbury Depot to Worksop for storage whilst building works continue at the depot.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As with many of its sister trams, <strong>37<\/strong> is no stranger to life on the back of a lorry. Originally delivered from Spain in July 2015 the tram was accepted for service on 6<sup>th<\/sup> April 2016 before it was named Ozzy Osbourne by the man himself in May 2016. It received batteries and ran for the first time with these fitted on 4<sup>th<\/sup> February 2019 but it ended up going back to Spain on 17<sup>th<\/sup> October 2020 for repairs. It didn\u2019t get back to the West Midlands until 15<sup>th<\/sup> June 2021. <strong>37<\/strong> had still\u00a0 been running in service at the start of October but has now been chosen for movement away from the network for storage at Worksop.<\/p>\n<p>Collected by Allely\u2019s in the morning of Thursday 2<sup>nd<\/sup> November the tram was moved by road to Worksop and is now the fifth West Midlands Metro tram to be stored there. The others are <strong>17<\/strong>, <strong>26<\/strong>, <strong>29<\/strong> and <strong>34<\/strong>.
